Only goal difference separates Manchester United and Wolverhampton Wanderers heading into Saturday evening’s Premier League matchup at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils sit in fifth, six points behind Chelsea, whilst Wolves are in seventh, also behind Tottenham Hotspur with the inferior goal difference.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side enjoyed a 6-0 thrashing of Tranmere Rovers in the FA Cup last weekend, without the services of Marcus Rashford. Wolves had already been eliminated from the competition by Manchester United earlier in the month.

Manchester United will be without top scorer Marcus Rashford for at least five more weeks with a back injury. The England international was having the best season of his career to date too, and with Romelu Lukaku out on loan at Internazionale, Solskjaer is limited with options up front.
The Norwegian is also dealing with injuries to central midfielders Paul Pogba and Scott McTominay. Nemanja Matic has been back in the first team of late as a result, whilst Fred is starting to show some sort of form in a Manchester United shirt.
Defenders Axel Tuanzebe and Marcos Rojo are both also ruled out through injury but neither would have been expected to feature anyway.
Jesus Vallejo has been sidelined for virtually all of the season following his loan move from Real Madrid. Left-back Ruben Vinagre is also unavailable to Nuno. Otherwise the Wolves manager has no other absentees.

This has been a tactical battle in recent seasons and one that Wolves have had the better of. I think the West Midlands club can go to Old Trafford on Saturday and come away with another positive result.
Adama Traore is in fine form down the right whilst Raul Jimenez is catching the eye of bigger clubs around Europe. Manchester United are short-handed with Marcus Rashford’s injury.
