Ferran Torres joined Manchester City in August 2020 with a five-year contract.
In a 6-0 win against Germany in the UEFA Nations League on 17 November 2020, he became the youngest player to score a hat-trick in a senior international game for Spain (20 years and 262 days) since Gaspar Rubio against France on 14 April 1929 (20years and 121 days).He joined Barcelona in January 2022 with a contract to June 2027.
