Comments:

League position: 8th Manchester United failed in their attempt to win five consecutive games in the Premier League for the first time since January 2019. United avoided losing four or more of their opening six home games of a league season for the first time since 1930-31 in League Division One. The Red Devils had now kept a clean sheet in three of their 11 games so far in this Premier League season. Manchester United were awarded a penalty after 47 minutes but was reversed after a VAR review due to an offside decision.

Comments:

League position: 9th Of the teams in the Premier League throughout 2020, Manchester City had now conceded the fewest goals (23). This was City's first goalless draw in the Premier League since their visit to Liverpool on 7 October 2018. They had now failed to score in consecutive away games in the Premier League for the first time since January 2017.
