This match had to be re-arranged after the original game on Saturday 26 April 2003 had to be abandoned at half-time (with Tranmere Rovers leading 2-0) for safety reasons. A spectator had climbed on to the roof of one of the stands and refused to come down. Due to results elsewhere on that day, Mansfield Town's relegation to Division 3 was confirmed.
