Tom Curtis

Curtis began his career at Derby County whom he joined as a schoolboy, but did not make the grade and was released by the club in the summer of 1993.

He immeadiately joined Chesterfield and played a major role in their famous FA Cup run in 1996-97 which took the team to the semi-finals.

After signing for Portsmouth during the close season of 2000, Curtis appeared regularly in the opening matches of 2000-01 season but then had the misfortune to suffer a broken ankle when he fell awkwardly during the Worthington Cup First Round second leg tie against Cambridge United.

The injury kept him out of action until the end of the campaign.

A strict fitness regieme saw him return in August 2001 to full fitness but he could not break into the first team and he spent a period on loan at Walsall.

He returned to the club and was a first team squad member for the latter part of the season.

Curtis was made available for transfer during the later stages of the 2001-02 season.

His Pompey contract was eventually cancelled in December 2002 and he immediately signed for Mansfield Town with a contract up to June 2004.

Curtis joined Notts County in July 2006 with a one-year contract.
