Always a workman-like player with a liking to go forward from midfield, Micky featured regularly for Burnley in 2000-01 and it was therefore a surprise when he was transferred back to his previous club Tranmere shortly before the transfer deadline. Although unable to halt Rovers' slide to relegation he showed that he could instigate attacks.
Micky joined Kidderminster Harriers in July 2004 with a two-year contract that was subsequently cancelled in December 2004.
