Comments:

League position: 16th Unused substitutes: Daniel Nardiello and Michael Coulson

Comments:

League position: 9th Unused substitutes: Nick Colgan and Tommy Miller Comment by John Abbott (19.08.2008): Danny Haynes is mentioned as the third substitute. In fact the sub was Liam Trotter. Danny Haynes was injured in the warm up and replaced by Liam Trotter. I have had this confirmed by ITFC. All the new books out now reviewing last season shows Danny Haynes as coming on, which is incorrect. Confirmed by match report on Ipswich Town's official web site: The game survived a pitch inspection two hours before kick-off but Danny Haynes didn't survive the warm-up, Liam Trotter replacing him on the bench after the teenager pulled out with an injury.
