Brown established himself as the first choice on the left side of midfield for Barnet in 2000-01 and managed to rediscover some of the form that he had shown during the previous campaign.
Brown has great vision and when pushing forward he can deliver an excellent cross, as was demonstrated in the 2-1 defeat at Hull City.
Brown signed a new one-year contract at Oxford United in May 2004.
