The club's official web site stated: "Kevin was widely reported to have netted our first goal in the 3-2 defeat at Reading on Saturday November 10th. "Even Kevin wasn't sure. But after viewing the match video in the Media Department at Ashton Gate, the young defender conceded it had been an own goal by the Royals defender Neil Shorey."
