Liverpool have completed the signing of 24-year-old left-back Kostas Tsimikas from Olympiakos for a fee of £11.75m.
The Greek has signed a five-year contract with Liverpool and will provide cover for first-choice Andy Robertson.
The Reds £10m bid for Norwich’s Jamal Lewis was recently rejected – an offer the Canaries considered derisory.
Leicester are currently priced at 4/1 with Lecasinoenligne casino to be Jamal Lewis’s club after the Summer transfer window something worth keeping an eye out for.
Tsimikas was one of Olympiakos’ star players last season as they won a 45th Super League title.
The Greece international told Liverpool’s website: “I’m very happy, I’m very proud to be here. For me, [it’s] the biggest club in the world. It’s an honour to be here and I will give my best.
“The league here, I like a lot. I watch it on the TV and it was always one dream I had from when I was a kid to come to play in this league and to come through.
“With a lot of work and focus on what I do and what the coach wants, and every day working hard in training, I can be on the highest level.
“[I want] to achieve [our] goals. To win the league again and also to win the Champions League.”
Pedro Chirivella played only a handful of times for Liverpool before his contract ran out in June, and though he may not have established himself at Anfield but he did play a part in the deal.
Klopps’ men are currently available at odds of 2/1 to win the Premier League next season with gambling sites like sagamblingsites.co.za.
Liverpool first discovered Tsimikas in 2017/18 whilst he was on loan at Willem II at the same time as Chirivella.
The Reds have been watching Tsimikas closely since and reports suggest he has what it takes to be more than just a back up for first-choice left-back Andy Robertson.
