Edwin van der Sar

Edwin van der Sar began his career with Ajax Amsterdam where he won four Dutch titles (1993-94, 1994-95, 1995-96 and 1997-98) three national cups (1992-93, 1997-98 and 1998-99) and one Champions League in 1994-95 for a total of 312 games.

He also played for Juventus and Fulham, but it is with Manchester United he found the greatest success including being voted Best European Goalkeeper in 1995, 2008, 2009 and 2010 by the UEFA magazine and UEFA Club Goalkeeper of the Year in 2009 by UEFA, winning four Premier League titles (2006-07, 2007-08, 2008-09 and 2010-11) and the Champions League (2007-08).

Van der Sar is still the most capped Dutch player with 130 games.

Considered by many as one of the best goalkeeper of all time, van der Sar is the oldest player to have won the Premier League (near 41 years) and the first goalkeeper to keep 50 clean sheets in Champions League.
