David Villa

David Villa is a peerless Spanish forward and the first Spanish player to reach 50 international goals. Top scorer for the national team with 59 goals, Villa has scored more World Cup goals than any other player in the history of the Roja (2014 figures).

David Villa played first for Real Zaragoza winning the Spanish Cup (2003-04) before playing five years with Valencia scoring 129 goals in 225 games and winning again the Spanish Cup (2007-08). With Barcelona he won La Liga twice (2010-11 and 2012-13) and the Champions League (2010-11). He then signed for Atletico Madrid where he won another Liga (2013-14) and reached the final of the 2013-14 Champions League.

Outstanding during important competitions with Spain, Villa won the European Championship in 2008 and the World Cup in 2010, finishing top scorer during the Euros and earning the Silver Boot at the 2010 World Cup.
