Thomas featured in a handful of early season games for Shrewsbury Town in the 2000-01 campaign but was then sidelined with an injury and once he had recovered fitness he was unable to win his place back. A skilful midfielder who is confident going forward and comfortable on the ball he was released by manager Kevin Ratcliffe in the summer.
