One of Bradford City's highly-rated youngsters, Scott made his senior debut in the Inter Toto Cup second round first leg tie in Lithuania against FK Atlantas.
He later featured as a substitute in a Worthington Cup tie against Darlington and also came on in the final Premiership match of the season at Coventry City.
A promising young midfield player, he has a great engine and never stops running throughout the 90 minutes.
After moving on to Hull City, Scott's injury-hit spell with the Tigers came to an end in March 2003 when his contract was cancelled by mutual consent.
Scott's contract at Lincoln City was extended to June 2008 in May 2007 then to June 2010 in June 2008 and to June 2011 in May 2010.
His contract at York City was extended to June 2013 in June 2012.
