Kasper Schmeichel's contract at Manchester City was extended to June 2008 in December 2005.
He joined Notts County in August 2009 with a five-year contract.
The son of the legendary former Manchester United keeper Peter Schmeichel joined Leeds United in May 2010 with a two-year contract.
He joined Leicester City in June 2011 with a two-year contract that was extended to June 2018 in June 2014, to June 2021 in August 2016 and to June 2023 in August 2018.
