Although a regular in the Norwich City squad, Adrian often found himself on the subs' bench in 2000-01.
He never seemed to be able to establish himself in any one particular position, but his versatility proved an asset as he performed in a number of different roles during the campaign.
Predominantly recognised as a wing man, where his speed and direct style made him a difficult opponent for full backs, he was also often used as a central striker where again his pace and ability to turn defenders unsettled many a back line.
He also contributed some terrific goals, notably a spectacular winner at home to Birmingham City and a great solo effort in the home draw with Blackburn Rovers.
Adrian joined Swansea City in July 2004 on a two-year contract.
He then joined Blackpool in a two-year deal.
Adrian joined Millwall in January 2008 with a contract to June 2009.
