Comments:

League position: 21st A number of sources incorrectly named Carl Dickinson in the starting line-up. This was not possible as he was serving a one-match suspension so had returned to Watford at the end of his loan spell. The News newspaper in Portsmouth recorded: "The left-back picked up a fifth booking of the season and his fourth for Pompey in the 1-0 defeat against Doncaster, which rules him out of tomorrow night’s home clash with Leyton Orient – the final game of his month’s stint." Mustapha Dumbuya was the player missing from the incorrect line-ups.
