League position: 1st Unused substitutes: Lewis Price, Matt Richards and Daniel Karbassiyoon

Comments:

League position: 14th Unused substitutes: Alec Chamberlain, Neil Ardley and Ashley Young Many sources stated that Watford's opening goal was credited to Jay DeMerit. However, the following from Watford's official web site's match report confirmed the 'scorer' as a Richard Naylor own goal: "The second corner was scuffed clear to Watford's right where Webber laid it back for Neil Cox who swept in a cross to the edge of the six-yard box. Jay DeMerit leaned into his marker and looked to have got the all-important touch but replays confirmed a Richard Naylor own-goal - the ball bouncing gently into the left side of the net agonisingly for Davis just out of the reach of his desperate dive."
