League position: 19th This was the first time that Cardiff City had conceded five goals since a 5-3 defeat at AFC Bournemouth in the League Championship on 13 December 2014. The Bluebirds were now without a win in their last ten games in the Premier League since 12 April 2014 at Southampton (lost six). They had now conceded 20 goals in their last seven home games in the Premier League.

Comments:

League position: 2nd Manchester City were now unbeaten in their last 12 games in the Premier League (won ten). This was the first time that the Citizens had scored five goals in an away game in the Premier League since a 6-0 win at Watford on 16 September 2017. A day after extending his contract to 2021, Sergio Agüero made his 300th appearance for City in this game and scored his 205th goal for the club. They had now failed to score in one of their last 30 away games in the Premier League.
