Comments:

League position: 18th Cardiff City had now failed to score in six games so far in this Premier League season (played 11); a joint high in the division with Huddersfield Town and Southampton. The Bluebirds failed in their attempt to win consecutive home games in the top division for the first time since April 1962. City had now conceded 30 goals in their last 12 home games in the Premier League and kept only one clean sheet.

Comments:

League position: 10th Leicester City had now won seven of their last nine games in the Premier League against newly-promoted teams. The Foxes remained as the only team to have scored in every game so far in this Premier League season. None of City's last 13 away games in the Premier League had ended as a draw (won five, lost eight).
