Oliver Kahn

“Der Titan” (“The Titan”) was one of the most successful German players and was considered throughout his career to be one of the best goalkeepers in the world.

With Bayern Munich, the club for which he played for 14 years, Kahn won the Champions league (2000-01) and eight Bundesliga titles (1996–97, 1998–99, 1999–2000, 2000–01, 2002–03, 2004–05, 2005–06 and 2007–08).

Four consecutive times Best European Goalkeeper (1999,2000,2001 and 2002) and three times IFFHS World’s Best Goalkeeper (1999, 2001 and 2002), Kahn played 632 games for the Bayern – over half of them as captain.

Kahn reached the final of the 2002 World Cup with some strong performances, conceding only three goals – including two in the final.

Oliver Kahn finished third in the 2001 and 2002 Ballon d’Or.
