Matt Lowton played for Leeds United during his youth career.
His contract at Sheffield United was extended to June 2012 in September 2010.
He joined Aston Villa in July 2012 with a four-year contract that was extended to June 2017 in July 2013.
Matt joined Burnley in June 2015 with a three-year contract that was extended to June 2020 in April 2017, to June 2021 in July 2018 and to June 2023 in January 2021.
