Jack Hinshelwood is the son of former Brighton and Hove Albion player, Adam Hinshelwood.

He was selected on Albion's subs bench for the first time on 31 December 2022 in a Premier League game against Arsenal.

His Seagulls contract was extended to June 2028 in April 2024 and to June 2029 in March 2026.
