Quailey seemed to find it difficult to rediscover his best form for Scunthorpe United at the start of 2000-01 and it was not until the closing months of the campaign that he featured regularly in first-team action. Although still not at his best he netted a few goals, including two in the 4-1 victory over Plymouth in March 2001.
Quailey is a pacy forward with great strength and an eye for goal. He joined Doncaster Rovers in August 2002 on a non-contract basis and soon moved on to Halifax Town in a similar deal.
