Comments:

League position: 12th West Ham United had now won consecutive games in the Premier League for the first time since January 2017. Lucas Pérez scored his first goals in the Premier League since 3 January 2017 for Arsenal at AFC Bournemouth. He became the first Hammer to score twice after coming on as a substitute in a Premier League game since Paulo Wanchope against Newcastle United on 12 April 2000. Łukasz Fabiański saved Joe Ralls' 40th minute penalty. He had now saved the last three penalties he had faced in the Premier League after saving two of his previous 19 in the division. Andy Carroll made his 200th appearance in the Premier League.

Comments:

League position: 16th Cardiff City had now lost eight of their nine games in the Premier League played in London, including the last seven (won one). Along with Arsenal, the Bluebirds were now one of two teams who had yet to lead at half-time so far in this Premier League season. Neil Warnock became the fourth manager to take charge of a Premier League game after his 70th birthday (also Sir Bobby Robson, Sir Alex Ferguson and Roy Hodgson).
