League position: 14th Stoke City named an unchanged starting XI in the Premier League for the first time in 23 games since 26 February 2017 versus Tottenham Hotspur. Darren Fletcher made his 325th appearance in the Premier League so equalling Gary McAllister's competition record by a Scottish player. Peter Crouch scored his 43rd goal in the Premier League for the Potters so equalling Jon Walters' club competition record. He also made his 142nd Premier League appearances as a substitute so equalling Shola Ameobi's competition record. Stoke City manager Mark Hughes said [about Peter Crouch]: "He's not a bad option, is he? The big man has come on again and done what he always does, which is make an impact. Peter's quality and attributes are there for all to see. He came on and was a real threat and he gave them something else to think about and we changed things about and were a threat from that point onwards. He can still score at this level because physically he's in the right place and is engaged in the game. I thought he was exceptional in his general play as well, not just the great goal he scored. Everybody says he's Plan B, but if he continues he will be Plan A. I must say, he's doing nothing wrong."

League position: 12th Leicester City were now unbeaten in their last six league and cup games. The Foxes had now kept two clean sheets in their last nine games in the Premier League. Vicente Iborra scored his first goal in 16 league appearances since netting in La Liga for Sevilla against Athletic Bilbao in March 2017. Leicester City manager Claude Puel said: "We played forward and this is very important. We have had a lot of chances today. We were winning 1-0, 2-1. It is difficult to accept this draw. I don’t know if it is a fair result but we could have lost in the last action without the fantastic save of Kasper but I think it is an encouraging game. We created a lot of chances away which is a good thing. It is a good opportunity now to work on this and create some things."
