Comments:

League position: 2nd This result ended Leicester City's new club record run of eight consecutive wins in the top division. The Foxes failed in their attempt to equal their club record of ten consecutive wins in all competitions which was set in March 1963. City now remained unbeaten in their opening nine home games in a top division season for the first time since 1962.

Comments:

League position: 19th Norwich City had now won one of their last 12 games in the Premier League (lost eight). Since the start of previous season, Teemu Pukki had now scored more league goals than any other player in the top four divisions (38). This was the first time that Tim Krul had 'scored' an own goal in the Premier League (172 appearances).
