League position: 12th Manager Claude Puel was sacked the day after this game. Leicester City had now equalled their club record of four consecutive home defeats in the Premier League; also from December 1999 to January 2000 at Filbert Street. The Foxes completed a run of six consecutive games in the Premier League without a win for the first time since October 2017. Their previous two managers (Claudio Ranieri and Craig Shakespeare) had also been sacked after runs of six games in the Premier League without a win. City conceded four goals in a home game in the Premier League for the first time since Tottenham Hotspur's 6-1 win on 18 May 2017. They had now conceded the opening goal in 19 of their 27 games so far in this Premier League season; more than any other team. Jonny Evans scored in his 250th Premier League appearance.
