At 33 years and 244 days, Sol Bamba became the oldest player to score his first goal in the Premier League since Zlatan Ibrahimović (34 years and 316 days) for Manchester United against AFC Bournemouth on 14 August 2016. Sol Bamba’s goal was Cardiff City’s 900th goal in the top division (played 673, conceded 1,076). Eden Hazard's hat-trick was the first that City had conceded in the Premier League since Luis Suarez for Liverpool on 22 March 2014.
