League position: 1th Victor Camarasa's goal was Cardiff City's first league goal in six hours and 55 minutes of play since Sean Morrison scored at Hull City in the League Championship on 28 April 2018. Their last goal in the Premier League was an own goal by Chelsea's Cesar Azpilicueta in May 2014 while their last player to score in the Premier League was Peter Whittingham with a penalty against Stoke City in April 2014. The Bluebirds failed in their attempt to keep three consecutive clean sheets in the top division for the first time since 1957. They had now lost four of their last eight league and cup games (won one).

Comments:

League position: 9th Arsenal had now won two of their last ten away games in the Premier League (lost eight). Matteo Guendouzi became the fourth teenager to start each of the Gunners' first four games of a Premier League season; also Nicolas Anelka (1998-99), Cesc Fabregas (2004-05 and 2006-07) and Johan Djourou (2006-07). Since making his debut in the Premier League in February 2018, only Liverpool's Mohamed Salah (15) had now scored more goals in the division than Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (11).
