Comments:

League position: 12th Brighton and Hove Albion had now lost one of their nine home games in the Premier League since the 2-0 defeat by Leicester City on 31 March 2018 (won four). The Seagulls failed in their attempt to equal the club record of three consecutive clean sheets in home games in the top division which was set in 1979. At 35 years and 60 days, Glenn Murray became the ninth oldest outfield player to make 100 appearances in the Premier League. He scored his first goal against Leicester City in eight games; his longest run before scoring a goal against any opponent in league games.

Comments:

League position: 10th Leicester City had now been shown four red cards so far in this Premier League; twice as many as any other team. They had now had a player sent-off in both of their Premier League visits to AMEX Stadium (also Wilfred Ndidi on 31 March 2018). The Foxes were now unbeaten in four consecutive games in the Premier League for the first time since March 2018. City remained unbeaten in all eight games so far this season against teams currently below them in the Premier League (won five). This was their first score draw in an away game in the Premier League since their visit to West Ham United on 24 November 2017.
