Kick-off: 8:30pm local Italy clinched a place in the EURO 2000 Final Tournament in Belgium and the Netherlands with a disappointing goalless draw against Belarus in the pouring rain at the Dinamo stadium in Minsk. Stunned by their recent home setback against Denmark, Italy were by far the better side throughout, and created a number of chances, only to be thwarted by a packed Belarus defence which made life difficult for Dino Zoff´s team throughout the game.
