Having been plagued by injuries in the previous season, Sean was again sidelined at the start of the 2000-01 campaign but recovered to feature regularly for Second Division champions Millwall, sharing responsibilities in the centre of defence with Stuart Nethercott and Joe Dolan.
He is an effective defender who is good in the air, strong in the tackle and reads the game well.
Out of contract at the end of the 2001-02, Sean decided to join Watford in a two-year deal.
Sean was made available for transfer by Watford in May 2005.
He joined Northampton Town with a two-year contract.
