Unlike most of Poland's national squad Radoslaw has played most of his football at home and it was not until the 2001-02 season that he ventured into the Bundesliga with Energie Cottbus. His senior career began with Zaglebie Lubin before a move to Wisla Krakow where he was a member of the team that won the League title in 1998-99. A midfield player, he made his international debut against Lithuania in September 1997 and featured regularly in the World Cup qualifying games when he scored five goals including a hat trick against Belarus. A defensive midfielder who is good in the air with an eye for goal being especially dangerous from set plays, he will be the midfield anchor for the team in the finals.
