Sorvel had another fine campaign at Crewe Alexandra in 2000-01 when he featured in every match for the second season in a row.
He netted just one goal, scoring with a low drive in the 4-1 defeat at Bolton Wanderers.
A hardworking midfielder with great stamina, he uses the ball with care and possesses a powerful shot.
Sorvel signed a new two-year contract with Crewe Alexandra in May 2003.
