Matthew Briggs became the Premier League's youngest-ever player when he made his Fulham debut at Middlesbrough on the final day of the 2006-07 season at the age of 16 years and 65 days.

His contract at Fulham was extended to June 2014 in March 2011.

He joined Millwall in August 2014 with a one-year contract.

After a loan spell, Matthew joined Colchester United in July 2015 with a two-year contract.

He joined Barnet in March 2018 on non-contract terms.
