Goodfellow won rave reviews after scoring freely for the Stoke City reserve and youth teams in 2000-01 and broke into the first team in style - scoring an outstanding late winner in the Worthington Cup tie against Charlton Athletic.
He went on to make a handful of senior appearances and will be looking to feature more regularly.
He is a talented striker with electric pace, an excellent shot in both feet and an eye for a goal-scoring opportunity.
Goodfellow joined Bristol City in January 2004 with a contract upto June 2006.
Goodfellow joined Grimsby Town in January 2006 with a contract to the end of the season.
He joined Bury in July 2006 with a one-year contract but his was cancelled in November 2006.
