This reliable and solid left back had a fine season at Wigan Athletic in 2000-01, seeing off the challenge of newcomer Gino Padula to keep his place in the team.
Having made a big contribution to the Latics campaign into the Play-Offs, he suffered the agony of conceding a last-minute penalty that led to defeat in the final against Reading.
Kevin was released at the end of the 2001-02 season and joined Huddersfield Town on a one-year contract.
He then joined Scunthorpe United on another year's deal which was extended to June 2005 in February 2004.
