Welsh international Joey Jones was a hard-tackling defensive stalwart. With Liverpool he was winner of the 1st Division Championship (1977) FA Cup runner-up (1977) and European Cup winner (1977). He later moved on to Chelsea and Huddersfield before returning to his former club Wrexham.
