Welsh international Joey Jones was a hard-tackling defensive stalwart.
With Liverpool, he was winner of the League Division championship (1977), FA Cup runner-up (1977) and European Cup winner (1977).
He later moved on to Chelsea and Huddersfield Town before returning to his former club Wrexham.
