Gordon Marshall

Marshall was on Rangers' books as a youngster and made his senior debut while on loan at East Stirling, but never made the first team at Ibrox. He earned a reputation as a sound and reliable goalkeeper during five seasons at East Fife and in March 1987 he signed for Falkirk. He went on to have join Celtic in August 1991 where he often struggled to establish a place in the line-up although he made a century of appearances in almost seven seasons at Parkhead. In January 1998 he moved on to Kilmarnock and has now made over 100 appearances for the Rugby Park club, where he is known as an effective shot stopper who is particularly good at handling crosses.
