David Bingham

A talented striker who creates chances for his colleagues with some neat lay-offs, David has been leading scorer for the Lions in each of the last two seasons. His senior career began with St Johnstone in 1990 where he played as a winger. He later switched to playing as an out-and-out striker and had considerable success in a three-year spell with Forfar Athletic where he scored almost 50 goals at a rate of nearly one every two games. In September 1995 he joined Dunfermline Athletic but never really hit it off with the Pars before moving on to Livingston in June 1998 where his goal touch returned, despite the fact that he was increasingly played in a wide-right role up front.
