Carl Regan

Signed from Everton during the 2002 close season, Carl went straight in the Barnsley first team at the beginning of 2000-01 but had the misfortune to be sent off just 20 minutes into his debut against Norwich City.

He returned from this, and was beginning to show considerable potential when he was sidelined by a knee ligament injury at the beginning of November and it was not until February that he regained match fitness.

However, once back in the team, he was a regular through to the end of the season.

A pacy right back with good control, he will have learnt considerably from his introduction to senior football in 2000-01.

Carl joined Hull City on a three month loan in August 2002 before agreeing a permanent move to the Tigers with a contract up to June 2004.

However, it was cancelled in March 2004.

Carl joined Macclesfield Town in July 2006 with a one-year contract.

He joined Milton Keynes Dons in January 2008 with a contract to June 2009.

Carl joined Bristol Rovers in July 2009 with a two-year contract.

He joined Shrewsbury Town in July 2011 with a one-year contract.

Carl joined Notts County in August 2012 with a six-month contract.

He joined Bury in January 2013 with a four-month contract.
