This young Leyton Orient centre half continued to ease gently into senior action last term when he featured fairly regularly in the first-team squad, mostly being used from the subs' bench. Brendan was a member of the O's double-winning youth team and also continued to add to his caps for Northern Ireland at U18 level. A reliable defender he reads the game well for one so young, Brendan was released from his Os contract in January 2002.
