Drury featured regularly for Peterborough United in 2000-01 until being sold to Norwich City for a substantial fee shortly before the transfer deadline.
A promising defender, he had once been on the Canaries' books as a schoolboy but this time he went straight in the first team, making his debut against Grimsby Town.
For one so young, he had already gained a wealth of experience playing mainly at left back, but also in the centre of defence for Posh.
A good tackler, he is very quick and enjoys getting forward when the opportunity arises.
Drury's contract at Norwich City was extended to June 2007 in August 2004, then to June 2011 in May 2007 and to June 2012 in December 2010.
He joined Leeds United in July 2012 with a two-year contract.
