Comments:

League position: 12th West Ham United avoided failing to score in four consecutive games in all competitions for the first time since October 2006. This was the first time that the Hammers had scored three goals in a Premier League game at the London Stadium. Manuel Lanzini had now scored a goal in each of his four Premier League appearances against Crystal Palace; twice as many as he had scored against any other Premier League club.

Comments:

League position: 17th Crystal Palace had now won one of their last 15 Premier League games (lost 11). The Eagles had now conceded in each of their last 21 away games in the Premier League since Boxing Day in 2015. Former West Ham United manager Sam Allardyce was still without a win after six games in charge of Palace in all competitions. Joel Ward was booked in the first minute of added time in the second-half.
