League position: 9th The attendance of 59,946 created a new club record for West Ham United's highest-ever home gate (previously 59,870 versus Brighton and Hove on 2 January 2019). Declan Rice scored his first career goal two days before his 20th birthday. He became the first teenager to score in the Premier League for the Hammers since Junior Stanislas against Everton on 8 November 2009. West Ham United had failed to keep a clean sheet in their preceding eight home games in the Premier League; their longest such run in the division since December 2009 (12 games).

Comments:

League position: 5th Arsenal had now taken two points from their last five away games in the Premier League games. They won 13 points in the five preceding away games (won four). The Gunners failed to score for the first time in their last 21 games in Premier League since the opening game of the season (0-2 versus Manchester City). They remained as one of three teams yet to lead at half-time in an away game so far in this Premier League season (also Burnley and Cardiff City).
