League position: 16th This was the first time that West Bromwich Albion led by three goals at half-time in a game in the Premier League but failed to win since a 3-3 draw with West Ham United at The Hawthorns on 12 February 2011. The Baggies remained without a win in their last seven league games (lost three). The only goal that Callum Robinson had previously scored in the Premier League was at Chelsea for Sheffield United on 31 August 2019.

League position: 6th Since the start of the previous season, Chelsea had now conceded more goals in away games in the Premier League than any other team (42). This was the first time that the Blues had trailed by three goals after 27 minutes of a game in the Premier League since 10 February 2019 at Manchester City (19 minutes, lost 6-0). At 36 years and four days, Thiago Silva became the fourth oldest non-British and Irish player to make his debut in the Premier League.
