Comments:

League position: 8th Swansea City had now equalled their record Premier League points tally in a season of 47, previously set in 2011-12. The Swans remained without a win against Everton in the league, now in 20 attempts (seven draws and 13 defeats). Their only win over Everton came in the Capital One Cup earlier in this season with a 3-0 win on 23 September 2014.

Comments:

League position: 12th Everton have named an unchanged team in the Premier League for the first time since 30 March 2014 when they visited Fulham and won 3-1. Prior to this match, Everton’s previous eight Premier League goals were scored by different players (including an own goal). This run was ended by Aaron Lennon scoring in this match as he was one of those eight. The Toffees were now unbeaten in their last 30 Premier League games when they have led at half-time since a 2-1 reverse at Norwich City on 23 February 2013.
