Comments:

League position: 20th Sunderland had now failed to score in 13 games so far in this Premier League season (played 28). Following a 4-0 win at Crystal Palace on 4 February, the Black Cats had now failed to score in their last four Premier League games (lost three). This was Sunderland’s 300th home game in the Premier League (won 98, lost 116). Sunderland manager David Moyes said: "We missed some big chances today, which maybe we've not been getting in other games, but you've got to take them."

Comments:

League position: 13th With four games to play, Burnley had now equalled the lowest points total for away games in a Premier League season (three by Derby County in 2007-08). This was the Clarets' second clean sheet in their away games so far in this Premier League season (also a 0-0 draw at Manchester United on 29 October). They had now won only one of the 11 Premier League games they had played in the month of March (lost eight). Burnley manager Sean Dyche said: "Only three points away, but we've been working hard. We had two golden chances in the first-half and were in control of the game, then they came out and improved."
